George Jennings represents clients involved in business and property transactions, and directs clients in business planning and entity formation, property management matters, and tax and estate planning. He consistently seeks practical and innovative solutions to the complex legal issues facing business owners today.

A frequent speaker and writer on legal issues, Mr. Jennings leads seminars on taxation, real estate, business and estate planning, property management, fair housing and other related business topics, and presents continuing legal education on choice of entities. He wrote Energy Implications of Tax Law in Oregon while employed by the Environmental Law Institute in Washington, D.C. While in law school, Mr. Jennings received various awards for academic excellence. He was selected by faculty to be associate editor of the Willamette Law Journal, on the National Moot Court team, and to receive the International Academy of Trial Lawyers Award.

Mr. Jennings has served as President of the Salem Area Chamber of Commerce, as well as serving on the Board of Directors and as the Governmental Affairs Committee's co-chair. In 1994, Mr. Jennings was appointed by the Chancellor of Higher Education as a citizen member of the committee to select a new president for Western Oregon University. He has been chairman of the Central School Board, president of the Monmouth/Independence Chamber of Commerce, and was chosen First Citizen of Monmouth/Independence. Mr. Jennings has served in a leadership and policy-making capacity for such organizations as the Western Development Foundation, The Friends of Deepwood, Rotary Club, Lions Club, Edgar H. Smith Fine Arts Series, and the United Way.
